Picked October 12th, we placed this lot in our big Giusy tank for 4 weeks of carbonic maceration. My lovely friend, Holly, helped me dig out the tank and press whole cluster to then be returned to the stainless steel tank for aging for 5 months. The longer time in tank lends to an interesting palate with white pepper, candied strawberries, cranberry, and mint aroma with a dry finish that is bright and crisp. This is your backyard BBQ wine that will pair well with grilled veggies and meats and BBQ potato chips.
